I am looking for a jacket and lame for my son David who is still growing.
According to the guys at Absolute I need a 40 jacket if it is the stretchy stuff
or a 42 if it is the heavier kind. They also said the lame should be a 42. The
lame he has is very old and has no tailoring so the width of the shoulders
follows through to the hips (think lame tent). So if anyone has any jacket or
lame they want to sell that you think would fit a 5'9" teenage boy who weight
125lbs, please contact me. Thanks.

Passing on from Terrie Doom who organized the clinic

Hello Harrisburg Division Members and Millersville Fencers,

I encourage all members to take advantage of the Referee Clinic that is being
sponsored by the Harrisburg Division.

Once you have attended the one day lecture, you have one year to take the
general and individual weapon tests.

Brad Baker will provide certificates that you have attended the clinic and will
send paper work to the F.O.C.

The general and individual weapons tests will be available to take at the end of
the day, if you are ready.

I know that we are busy with work, school, and the coming Holidays.

Please Note:****You are not required to take the test on the day of the clinic
****

The advantage of taking the test on the clinic day is that you have no
additional cost.

There will be some great fencing information at the clinic that will help you
understand what the referees are looking for in your fencing.

This is especially important for Sabre and Foil fencers.  Please read the rules
and study guide questions even if you do not plan to take the test.

You can ask Brad Baker to explain questions and rules that are not clear to
you.  I suggest that you bring a copy of the Rules and the Study Questions so
that you can take notes.

Please register on Askfred or send me an email request:  Brad is bring extra
handouts and the certificates and it will help to know the correct number of
people attending.

Let me know if you have additional questions about the clinic.

I look forward to seeing you at the clinic.  I know that you will enjoy the
information that Brad will be presenting.

Best regards,
Terrie Doom
