Just got our letter from the USFA. The important points are:

1. meeting Tuesday Sept 2nd 6:45-8:45 at Colonial Park Library
(letter does not state if time is am or pm or address for Colonial Park
Library)

2. meeting will have nominations given and voting.

3. proxy instructions included in letter

4. direct quote from letter, "Please note, if we don't vote for
Officers, then the Harrisburg Division will likely be dissolved."

The letter is signed by Terrie Doom (member at Large) and Stephen Squibb
(acting treasurer)


Personal note here: We simply CANNOT let the division be dissolved!
Please do not be apathetic about this meeting or the election. Make your
voice heard. Better yet, become an active part of the division. The
current condition of the division is not the fault of one individual but
of all who simply stood by and did nothing.

Ok, now that I have truly endeared myself to you all, I am entering my
name in nomination for secretary. My USFA membership is process and I
can get confirmation from USFA on that. I am a mom of two fencing teens
(York Fencing Club) and have a vested interest in the success of this
division.

Please help our division survive. Attend the meeting or at least send
your proxy!
