Hello everyone,

This letter is to inform you that it is last week to sign up for
Arnold
Fencing Classic 2007!
This only one annual Fencing Show/Competition in US is a part
of the Arnold Sports Festival that will be held in Columbus,
Ohio on
March 2-4,2007. Arnold Sports Festival is the largest sports
show in
North America, and in 2007 is expecting 150,000 spectators and
15,000
athletes from around the world competing in 30 sports where 15
of them
are an Olympic Sports (www.arnoldsportsfestival.com). Already at
the
size of the Olympic Games this glamorous Festival featuring a
lot of
youth events and adds new sports every year!

The Arnold Fencing Classic (AFC) will be offering a set of very
exciting
events and amazing opportunity to receive a $1000 scholarship
for
fencers from 14 to 20 y.o. AFC 2007 will be presented on March
3rd and
4th of 2007.
AFC 2007 will be featuring :

1. Regional Youth Circuit - Y10, Y12 and Y14 events for all
three weapons,
where fencers of Y12 and Y10 are qualifying for the Summer
Nationals 2007.

2. Epee Open - is a competition for the top class epee fencers
of
USA. Registration for this event is limited. Fencers ranked "A",
"B" and
"C" USFA and FIE ranked will have a priority to enter. In the
tree years
of history of the Arnold Fencing Classic this event has been
almost as
popular for visitors as an Elite* Fencers performance.
Organizers of the
Arnold Fencing Classic looking to excel this event to become the
Best
Men's Epee Elite competition in the US!

3. Foil Open - is a USFA tournament.
Fencers from most of states expected, where some of them are top
fencers in US.

4. Sabre Open - It will be first time at the Arnold Fencing
Classic that tournament will be held in format,
where sabre fencers of any level will get chance to fence in the
tournament and when the top 8 fencers
will get defined by the Direct Elimination round - the Elite 8
fencers combined of our US National Stars
and International Olympians - will be seeded into the tableau
and an amazing duel of amateurs and pro's will begin.
This part of the Sabre competition (including the Finals)
will be showcased on the main stage of the Grand Ballrooms on
Sunday..

International Rotary Club will award a $1000 scholarship to the
one
"Best Performance Fencer". "Fencing Poster Contest" is one of
the
criteria that will be used to select our nominees. Selected
posters will
be displayed in the Hall in front of the main fencing venue.
Creators of
The Best posters will receive certificates and gifts!
