in competitive and non-competitive situations.

EAST HAMPTON, NEW YORK

TRAIN LIKE AN OLYMPIAN, WITH AN OLYMPIAN


THE CAMP
Held in the popular summer community of East Hampton, Sankofa Sabre Camp
focuses exclusively on advancing the skills of its participants in sabre
fencing. The program provides individualized instruction, tactical group
classes, supervised round-robin fencing, and conditioning combined with
a unique opportunity to enjoy many of the activities associated with
vacationing in the Hamptons including its famous beaches, volleyball,
and hiking.

FACILITIES
The Ross School - An innovative private school known for its educational
excellence and striking architectural design, will be the location for
morning fencing sessions equipped with fifteen electrical strips.
Camp Blue Bay - The Hamptons sleep-away camp of choice, is just minutes
away from The Ross School. Located on 179 acres of beautiful scenery in
East Hampton, the property features the beachfront on Gardener's Bay,
beautiful wildlife, hiking trails, cafeteria, separate lodging cabins
for boys and girls, and cross-training facilities.

CAMPERS
The camp is open to both boys and girls ages 12-19 with fencing
experiences that range from novice to nationally ranked fencers.

Mika'il Sankofa - 2005 USFA Hall of Fame Inductee, four-time NCAA Sabre
Champion, two-time U.S. National Sabre Champion and a three-time U.S.
Olympian ('84,'88,'92), Mika'il is currently head Men's Fencing Coach at
Stevens Institute of Technology and Director of Athletics for the Peter
Westbrook Foundation - a not-for-profit organization that uses the sport
of fencing to enhance the lives of youth academically, socially, and
athletically.

August 20 - 27, 2006

The Sankofa Sabre Camp focuses exclusively on advancing the skills of
its participants in sabre fencing. Held at the Ross School - an
innovative private school known for its striking architectural design -
the camp's two daily training sessions will provide individualized
instruction, tactical group classes, video analysis, supervised
round-robin fencing and a comprehensive conditioning program combined
with a unique opportunity to enjoy many of the activities associated
with vacationing in the Hamptons; including its famous beaches, sports
and outdoor activities. The camp will conclude with a competition and
Barbecue picnic on the final day.

Peter Westbrook Foundation Director of Athletics
Aki Spencer-El, 2000 U.S. Olympian
1999 & 2000 U.S. National Sabre Champion
Trainer: Erica Wilder, Exercise Physiology and Sports Science specialist.
Additional coaches and counselors will augment the staff.
Recognized Camp Attendees: Adam Crompton, Ras Davidson and Marty Williams.

Fee - $830 covers camp program, housing, meals, beach trips and all
other activities. Campers will also receive a commemorative sports bag
that will include t-shirts, a fencing body cord and fencing socks.

Campers - Enrollment limited to first 50 applicants ages: 12-20

South Denver Fencing Academy is pleased to offer 4 sessions of summer
foil camp. All sessions take place in our 5600 square foot
state-of-the-art facility which holds five regulation size grounded
fencing strips. We have a raised wooden floor with underground wiring.

Sessions are open to all levels of fencers. Activities include: fun
warm-up games, stretching, games to develop physical skills, footwork
and bladework drills, fencing tactics and techniques, directing, and
fencing etiquette. Fencers will be divided into groups according to
skill level for bladework, footwork and bouting. Each week will conclude
with a fencing tournament with prizes for all.

Session 1: June 12 - 16
Session 2: June 19 - 23
Session 3: July 24 - 28
Session 4: July 31 - August 4

All sessions: Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm
Fees: $250/week or $60/day for SDFA members
$275/week or $70/day for non-SDFA members

year activities in Supervised Fencing, non-supervised fencing for

evening in Hingham.

Below are 2 summer camps for Epee. Camp #1 is a developmental camp for
Boys and Girls. Camp #2 is for Elite Women Epee fencers. Both camps are
in August and will be held in Kerrville, Texas (which is about an hour
northwest of San Antonio).

Camp #1
Developmental Epee Camp (Boys and Girls)

August 6-11, 2006. Camp #1 is a developmental summer camp for both boys
and girls (ages 11-18). This will be a traditional summer fencing camp
with lessons, bouting, conditioning, etc. Paul Pesthy (women's epee
National coach), Kelley Hurley (National team member and 2005 Cadet
World Champion) and Courtney Hurley (National Team member and 2006 Cadet
World Champion) will be the coaches. The camp will be from Sunday 3pm -
Friday 1pm - Aug 6 - 11, 2006 at Schreiner University in Kerrville
Texas. The cost of the camp is $550 (includes all room & board).
Transportation to/from the San Antonio airport is available for an
additional charge ($25 round trip) as Kerrville is 1 hour away from the
airport. Space is limited -- so you can be sure of plenty of individual
attention! Deadline for registration is July 3. Registration and camp

The top 8 of the Y12, Y14 and Cadet epee (boys or girls) on the USFA
rolling point standings as of June 1 are eligible for a $50 scholarship
(only 1 scholarship per person allowed).


Camp #2
ELITE Womens' Epee camp

August 4-7, 2006. Camp #2 will focus around the Senior World
Championship team. The top 4 women will receive a scholarship to the
camp and some travel reimbursement. This camp is MANDATORY for all team
members. The camp will be Fri 3pm - Mon 1pm - Aug 4-7, 2006 at Schreiner
University in Kerrville Texas. You will need to fly into San Antonio
airport (you need to arrange to arrive at the San Antonio (SAT) airport
NO LATER THAN 2:00pm and depart the SAT airport NO EARLIER THAN 4:00pm.
Transportation will be provided (as Kerrville is approx 1 hour from the
airport). The top 24 Seniors and top 16 Juniors are eligible to register
on a priority basis however there are only 16 spots available. The
deadline to register to reserve your spot is June 9. By June 16, we will
notify the top 16 who have a reserved space (if there are more than 16
registered). The cost for the camp (exclusive of airfare) is $230
including transportation to/from the airport and all room & board.
