MUFG, "Z"-fencing, Eric,

Thanks for your intervention with the school. We were in a hallway last
time because Hackman was locked and there seemed to be nobody around to
let us in.

Your cells are still growing at an alarming rate and I am sure that you
will be back in good condition by the time you need to be for school.
For your down time I recommend blade work. Anybody who is serious about
competition or interested in seeing rapid improvement in their point
control needs to pick up the foil and hold it for at least five minutes
Every Day. This is a minimum requirement for being able to make
noticeable progress.

To warn up, practice changing from guard to extended position, in the
"smoothfast" method.

Then from extended position disengage and double disengage, both
directions.

Then mix various parry postures in between extended disengagements, like
this, guard, extend, disengage, guard, parry, extend, disengage, guard,
extend ...you have already got in the first two minutes.

On a wall target, thrust on target, disengage thrust in 4, in 6, in 8,
one-two, disengage one two finish in 8, straight thrust finish in low,
straight thrust in low finish high, disengage thrust in 6 change to low
change again finish high ( I love that one) this will take at lease
fifteen minutes, it's like taking your vitamins.

On a ball target, same but finishing low may be tricky unless you have a
tandem ball target contraption, not impossible.

This can all be done with or without, advance, lunge, advance lunge. You
do not even have to be standing on-guard, it can be done sitting in a chair.

You do not have to do much, but doing a little every day does have a
huge impact on ones skills.

Cheers!
CLF
