Greetings! The month of April is a lighter month for events following
on the heels of the number of qualifying events that took place in
March. Please note that the Division 2 and Division 3 Qualifiers for
Nationals have NOT been moved to the beginning of April. Since there
is no conflict between the Division Qualifiers and Sectionals (with
regards to the qualifying paths) the schedule stands as originally
issued. So, without further adieu...

04/04/04 -- Mixed Epee "A" @ BFC - 2:00pm

The listed times are for the close of registration, please arrive
prior to this in order to facilitate the timely start of fencing. The
entry fee for these events is $10 per individual. The letter code
(i.e., "E") denotes the highest rating a fencer can have and still
participate (i.e., fencers with "C", "D" or "E" ratings, as well as
unclassified fencers, can participate in a Mixed Foil "C").

Also note that the annual Cherry Blossom Open is being hosted by the
Capitol Division and will be taking place the weekend of April 10th
and 11th. While the Chesapeake Challenge Circuit has been cancelled
this year due to administrative and event problems, this is still an
event that is worth attending. For additional information on the

In addition, the Mid-Atlantic Junior Sectionals is taking place the
weekend of April 17th and 18th. Information has been posted on the
Mid-Atlantic Section website for both Junior and Senior Sectionals.
