MUFG, there will be a Foil E/C double header at CFC this Saturday
3/15
The JCC 'Foil I' class was started today and is going well.
I plan on conducting fencing practices for intermediate and advanced
fencers during upcoming sessions. These will be held on Wednesdays and
run from 6:30 till 9 PM. You have to join the class in progress to
participate. The remaining 7 sessions will take us through April. The
fencers that participate in both classes may then have the opportunity
to be the seed that forms a new fencing community in the Lancaster
area. Some of the participants were there to "just check it out," but
the rest seemed more serious. The serious-minded are the ones in whom
I have confidence; I doubt the others will survive very long.
The goal is to grow the participation to twenty potential founding
members by the end of the second session, eight weeks from now 4/30.
Even if you are not interested in being in the beginners' class - show
and I will make sure that you get a workout.
Please CONTACT ME right away so that I can gauge the response for next
week; also the JCC information has a tendency to "drift." Keeping in
touch is the best way to be sure to stay current.
Cheers!
