I am planning on heading to Black Diamond Fencing Academy in
Harrisburg to compete in the Scholastic Foil competition on
Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am.

If I feel slightly up to it after that competition, I am going to
try to stay and qualify for the Mid-Atlantic Sectionals (MAS) at
1:00 pm for foil.

However, there are limitations on competing. The first competiton
is only open to Junior fencers (under 20 yrs old), and the second
competition is open to Harrisburg division fencers only, but of all
ages. Unfortunately, both Roger and Chris are unable to compete in
either event.

By chance if you want to compete in or observe either competition,
contact me at 898-9560 before Saturday morning on the 8th.

This is a great opportunity to watch (or compete in) a fencing
competition if you are serious about the sport. I do not expect
either competition to be too long, which makes it even better for
spectators.
