Hi Doris,
If she put her head under the pad with you I would then take it away
behind you to reward her for being so brave.
From what Julie was saying about Star, I think when Cookie is showing deep
comfort with the pad is when you could switch back to CT, but always being
ready to move into CAT if she becomes afraid again. Also remember baby
steps! don't try and go too fast onto lifting up the pad on her back. Spend
time putting lots of small steps between her touching it, and lifting up the
pad. Jedda is more comfortable with people in front of her, when people move
to the side she is a lot more fearful, so keep watching Cookie for
behaviours which indicate fear beginning and respond accordingly by going
back a step or going back into CAT.
