The USRowing Youth Committee is proposing to the board of directors
that the Youth Invitational (held in Cincinnati) become a true
National championship for the sport of rowing. It is currently not
an official championship though most everyone views it this way. The
summer nationals (currently held in Indianapolis) would remain a
National championship for club rowing in the same format. If you
have strong feelings one way or another on this topic, please email
jody@... or your regional rep on the Youth Committee. The
board will review this request at either its October or December
meeting.
