2006 National Learn to Row Day

USRowing and Concept2 are excited to announce the sixth National
Learn to Row Day on June 10, 2006. Please mark your calendar.
The "call for interest" mailing and form is being sent to all
organizations as they join USRowing. This form is also available on-
line at www.usrowing.org. A direct link to the page can be found

There are a couple of exciting additions to the program this year.
Each participating club will receive a National Learn to Row Day
banner to display at their event. In addition, every club will
receive National Learn to Row Day logo posters to distribute
throughout their community to help promote the event.

As was the case in 2005 you must be an organizational member of
USRowing to participate in National Learn to Row Day. Participation
is a member benefit. If your organization is a member of USRowing in
2006, all you need to do is to return the form expressing interest
in participating and you will receive all National Learn to Row Day
materials to assist you in hosting and promoting the event.

With regard to insurance for National Learn to Row Day, USRowing
will extend its existing insurance coverage for current USRowing
member organizations for this event. These organizations will need
to have each participant at the event sign a Release of Liability
form. If the participant is a minor, a parent or Guardian must
sign. In addition, these organizations will need to have all
participants sign in on a form indicating that the event is for
National Learn to Row Day.
