2006 Board of Directors & Committee Election Materials

Re: 2006 USRowing Elections
Attached below are the ballots and biographical materials for candidates for the elected members of the Board of Directors, Referee Commission, Youth Advisory Committee, Masters Committee, Junior Men’s Committee, and Junior Women’s Committee. For the Board, Youth Advisory Committee and the Referee Commission, the Southeast and Southwest regions are up for election. Board members will be elected according to the constitutional amendments adopted on December 17, 2005. 
The entire Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s Committees are up for re-election this year. For the Masters Committee, the Northwest, Northeast, and two at-large positions are being elected in 2006 per Article 5, Section 2 of the USRowing Constitution.
Only those organizations that sponsor youth rowing programs per bylaw 47(B) may vote for the Youth Advisory Committee. For the Referee Commission, each licensed referee gets one vote, as well as each member organization.
The states are divided by the following regions:
Mid-Atlantic – Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia
Midwest – Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Northeast – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Northwest – Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
Southeast – Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Southwest – Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
DEADLINE: Ballots must be postmarked by February 7, 2006. Ballots may be mailed or faxed and must be sent to:
