Cool Method for Club News   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1330 of 1542 |
Sometimes the Club News in the Magazine is designated as one person's
job for the whole year. Sometimes that's great- some of the newswriters
are really good at collecting all of the news and reporting it every
single month. But a lot of the time it's hard for one person to find
news every single month to write about.

This year in Oklahoma, our president Doug Schoppa had the great idea to
make a signup sheet to pass around at our banquet- there we filled it
out for both adult and youth news, so that a different person would do
it every month- he calls the people when it's their turn to remind them
to turn it in by the fifteenth two months ahead of time.

It works really well because not only do you meet a new person every
month when you read the Oklahoma news, you get a new perspective on the
people and events in the state.
