I think there has been discussion lately of adding a new class for 8&U- Walk trot pleasure. If the kid rode in the W/T pleasure they wouldn't be able to go in the 3-gait pleasure at the same show. What does everyone think about this idea?

I think that would be fine... I'm sure there are several kids that are afraid to lope, and since our breed is devoted to youth, I think any classes that will...

I usually try and be a silent advisor but having an 8 and under I thought you might want a parents view point. Most of the shows that we go to have patterns...

I think it would be a good idea to make it a rule that you have to be riding in the 3-gaited classes by the last year of 8 & Under... I never thought of that!...

Maybe this will be out next big issue. I agree that the 8&U kids should be loping by their last year, simply for the preparation it gives them for 9-12. Maybe...
