Excellent home page! You guys should be very proud of yourselves!

Yes I do believe we can put the Kings away for the
season. As sad as Charles Barkley may be.
I believe the mavericks can win if they play good
defense like they did in the 3 quarter in game 5.
GO MAVS

Randy:
IMO, I think the Mavs should run, run, run. Try to tire out the
Kings.
Second, the defense needs to play like they played on Tuesday night.
Third, try to get Divac in foul trouble. Without Divac, they don't
have a big man.
GO MAVS!!!

I also like the Mavs chances - they have already won at SacTown and
should feel really good after the game 5 victory - especially since
it was won because of great 2nd half DEFENSE not just because they
hit a bunch of three's. I am hoping they come out hungry for a win
in Game 6 and not just satisfied to come home for Game 7. If the
Mavs get the same effort from the supporting cast like Raef, Raja,
and even Bradley they should be able to beat a depleted but still
dangerous Sac team even on their home court.
Wooohooo... Me too. Go MAVS!

Bell provided a big boost for the suddenly re-energized Mavericks, outshooting the Sacramento Kings in the game-turning third quarter of a 112-93 victory. Bell had just 13 points, but nine in the decisive period as Dallas took a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series.
Bell, making his second straight start for the injured Adrian Griffin (sprained right ankle) had four baskets in the third quarter. That was one more than Sacramento managed while being outscored 29-10 in the period.
Steve Nash, held to just six points in the Game 4 loss, scored 25 points. He was just 5-of-12 from the field, but hit 15 of 16 free throws. All five starters, plus Nick Van Exel, scored in double figures for Dallas.
Dirk Nowitzki has 16 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high nine assists, falling just short of the first triple-double in Dallas postseason history.
After playing three games in four nights, the teams are going right back to Sacramento. Game 6 is Thursday.

Stats show that game 5 winner wins series 83% of the time. I like
that percentage :)
Hi Angela and Lori.

Mavs Pair Fined for Incidents During May 11 Game in Sacramento
Dallas' Raja Bell, Dirk Nowitzki fined
NEW YORK, May 13 -- Dallas Mavericks guard Raja Bell and forward
Dirk Nowitzki have each been fined for incidents that occurred
during the fourth period of the Mavericks' 99-83 loss to the
Sacramento Kings on May 11 at Arco Arena.
Bell has been fined $7,500 for verbally abusing a game official
following his ejection with 1:14 remaining, and Nowitzki has been
fined $5,000 for improper conduct while leaving the playing floor
with 2:30 remaining.
Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations,
announced both fines today.
So let get this going...
What are the Mavs chances to win this series?????
I predicted doom and gloom with a Sac sweep... I am happily eating
those words... Now I don't know if the Mavs can keep up the
intensity to win 2 of the next 3 games... I think Sac wins in 7 (i
really hope to eat those words also).
I think one of the key factors of tonight's game will be the play of
Divac and Turkoglu. In Game 4, Turkoglu shut down Dirk pretty good.
Also, somebody needs to help Dirk defensively against Divac, because
Dirk can't handle him one-on-one.
GO MAVS!!!
Mark

Actually you are one of at least five.
This is Mike, creator of Outsider Sports, and an owner of this
group. I would just like to welcome you all on this fresh start to
a great Mavericks group. You can download that Dirk wallpaper that
is our front banner in the files section. I will be making more Mav
wallpapers very soon, so be patient.

Just wondering if I am the only girl here. No I am not thinking
about leaving because I truely love my Dallas Mavericks alot. If
they beat Sacramento and don't face LA in the 3rd round then I have a
feeling that they could go all the way. And win there 1st
championship. Hope you guys enjoy yourself. My name is Angela. I
also visit the Nashnet Reborn group on ezboard. That is a cool

Good Morning, glad to see the option of a chat room here and
postings on the real issue with us all THE DALLAS MAVERICKS at their
finest hour. Been a great pleasure here in the northland rooting
for DaMavs since their inception by Donald Carter, Norm Sonju, Dick
Motta and all the others. Have an owner today that cares more about
basketball than all the others, what an enthusiastic leader that
brings about. Thank YOU Mark Cuban for resurrecting OUR team.
Anyway, let's attempt to use the chat room from time to time. That
would be an interesting and useful way to visit. Post a time if
you'd like, so the rest of us could show if the opportunity presents
itself. Thanks for starting over, much appreciated randy. Have a
great day.
3.2 sec. left, ball goes over to finley, the three, IT"S GOOD. the
mavericks win, the mavericks win. Woohoo. Go MAVS> game five. :)
You hit the nail on the head Jeff. And as one of the best members
over there at the other place I want you to know how happy I am that
you and many of the others have decided to make the pilgrimage. IT's
time for hard core opinions and hard core Mavs talk. I had
limitations over there as we all did. This will be different here.
Lot's more enticing.
We do have a series don't we LOL! Stay tuned at 6pm Dallas time
tonight!

On starting a new club. I really do hope this is centered
around 'hard core' Mavericks talk and stuff. Enough about Potland and
all the things wrong with the world, lol.
A fresh start and I might even post here, heh....I know you will do a
great job Randy, as you did a great job for the old sportsbar.
And WE DO HAVE A SERIES DONT WE!!!!
Tuesday night might be the make it or break game for both teams.
I believe that the Mavericks WILL be ready and win it and drive on to
win this series.
