We (Seikokan in Windsor) have been fortunate in that the dojo is located
inside a multi-use sports facility. Inside the facility, there are windows
looking into the dojo in a very high traffic area. This has brought many
students in. What is funny is that you'd think people participating in the
other sports the facility has to offer would be the ones who join. It
turns out that the parents who bring their kids to do other activities are
the ones joining.

Myself, I joined due to word of mouth and because I saw Aikido being
demonstrated many times at the local mall and colleges.
