i was 190# and i managed to crack the frame where the seat beam meets
the down tube.
was a little dark and i hit a fairly deep rut that a semi quite
possibly gouged into the road i was traveling on. bounced around a bit
and i'm sure that seat beam was just flexing like crazy. the cool thing
with this frame is that since trek allows the transfer of the warranty
for carbon frames from the original owner to the next, if your y
somehow fails, you get a new one. more than likely you'll end up with
a madone sl (since the y frames are no longer being made), but you
won't end up assed out in the end like other manufacturers.
my suggestion is try not to go offroading on them. haha...
