Well guys after some great duning this weekend, my 3206's only
casualties are the new 3rd design spindles. I bent one the first
day. Which I straightened. And then my wife bent both, badly, on a
good G-Out on the third day. The new spindles bend on the top now
instead of the bottom. They bend up, sending the tie rod over into
the tire. After some gussetting on these, I think bent spindles will
be a thing of the past. On a better note, my 3206 went through the
dunes great. I put 20-11-10 8 paddle Sand Sharks on it and dropped
the front tires down to 2 psi. It went pretty much anywhere my wife
wanted to take it. My extra 100 pounds limited its hill shooting
ability though. Also, my buddies new Dazon 150R1 wasn't as
fortunate. Without paddles, it couldn't keep up with my Yerf. Even
though mine was stock and his Dazon had a pipe and filter. It also
broke the reverse stay bolt causing it to get hung up between
reverse and forward, which basically left it in neutral. Good thing
we brought a tow strap. He also broke the steering shaft bolt. Which
caused the steering shaft to pull out and have a toal loss of
steering. So overall my Yerf had a great weekend.
