Mainly agree. Understandable that the ref is going to get grief from
some of the opposition fans - when you lose 4-0 and get two sent off
slagging the ref is always the first port of call. However I've been
surprised by the criticism coming from some Yeovil fans. In a passionate
and fiery encounter I felt he got most things right. It was the sort of
game that can easily generate into absolute mayhem, and he gets credit
from me for keeping the game of football at the top of the agenda
through the afternoon. He kept calm, whilst I can think of a few refs on
the circuit who would have lost their heads completely.
