[YawYan Philippine Martial Art] Re: Dance of Death

Hi- Bon I agree with everything you said. I don't question the system
you have ruled inside your organization because I am not fully aware
with the rule and mind-set of yaw yan-ist. I only speak of what I
perceive with the system you use. Fighter will not say he can't fight
specially if his mind was conditioned and believe that he is a good
fighter. But if I am the coach I know the ability of my men and I
will not rely on the weight matching system alone.

I am very much close to the ring that night. If you are there that
time and observant enough to your surroundings I don't believe you
didn't notice the comment of the majority with regards to 1st 2nd and
3rd fight . (I regret di ko na inabot ang 5th to the rest of the
fight that night. Coz I left after 4th matched)that they must stop
the fight dahil hindi na kaya ng fighter. But what are the referee
and his comrade on the corner is doing and saying to the fighter?,
they encourage him that he can make it(pitiful fighter). Have you
noticed the fat guy wearing a maroon polo( if I am not mistaken he's
a dignitary from cityhall , I'm not sure)sitting on the west side
ring, he keeps on standing and yelling "referee stop the fight its
over".

Again , it is not an act of interfering to the regulation of your
organization, its just my observation. I know you have a lot of good
and great fighters out there, I just cant chew the system and style I
watched that night. Sorry if I made you upset but it's not a matter
of degradation but more on a feeling of concern to your fighters.

Henkell

has always been, weight is the main factor when it comes to
determining fight cards. there had been mismatches but it doesn't
mean that each fighter does not have what it takes to win one. there
are always advantages and disadvantages in the ring... its up to the
fighter how he will fight his card and how will he use his aces.
remember, one can always decline if he feels it's not yet his time to
fight.

QUESTIONS coming from the referee if he still wants to continue OR
NOT. inside the ring, it boils down to the individual...realistically
speaking, you are on your own.hindi pinipilit ang fighter na
lumaban... desisyon pa rin niya un.. let's give the respect and honor
that they deserve. watching outside the ring is different from
actually stepping in the ring. everyone has their own reasons on why
they'd still fight.
