Hi Mayores...

Zapata is in good fighting condition if you want him to fight in the
streets against anyone, he is curently under a court hearing for
beating up 11 men and this is not a tele novela my friend or a scene in
a movie...its real life combat.
But in a competition, he will need time to train since its been a long
while since his last fight and not to forget the fact that he is old na
rin. If you ask him to fight in an NHB fight like the URCC, I have no
doubt that he will fight for the right reasons...But please dont expect
him to fight the new breed of fighters in URCC...its like asking Ali to
fight Tyson or Sugar Ray Leonard to fight Pacqiuao (If they are in the
same wt category)

Yaw-Yans are so active in URCC and Fearless so how can anyone say that
Yaw-Yan is out dated?

Yes grappling is quite a hit in the Martial arts scene...but even the
great fighters of UFC,URCC, Pride etc know that to be a good MMA
fighter, you must learn BOTH grappling and striking.

Even the great Alvin Aguilar studied Yaw-Yan and believes that a
complete NHB fighter must be good in both stand up and ground
fighting...

YES its true that MOST fights end on the ground but where do ALL fights
start...

My honest oppinion is that a true fighter must learn both Ground and
Stand up fighting and recently, Ive learned the importance of weapons
fighting as well specifically Arnis...

You were asking if MMA is existing during the time of Zapata...you have
no idea what it was like then. Its NHB to the max...NO RULES as in NO
RULES except for "Kill or be killed" so to speak and it was done most
of the time in Topadas or Cockpit Arenas.

Yaw-Yan as a brotherhood has high repsects for Pareng Zapata...his
loyalty and dedication to Yaw-Yan has inspired all of us in Yaw-Yan...

Thanks

Wanlu Lunaria

Gritings!
Can Emiliano Zapata d' pride of YAW-YAN still fight in an Mixed Martial
Arts
Tournament against a BJJ practioner?! how will Zapata fare against a
grapler
with a cross training in striking technique?? If Mixed Martials Arts are
existence during the time of Zapata, will he still be undeafeated?!
There's no question about the stirking capabilities of YAW-YAN. why???
40
basic kicks on his arsenal but what about ground fighting?? do YAW-YAN
need to
cross training in BJJ, Combat Judo & Freestyle Wrestling to be
effective in
Mixed Martial Arts?? is YAW-YAN obsolete now??? BJJ is the trend in
Martial Art
now, does it make YAW-YAN out dated?! Please reply my query. Thanks in
advance.
