Hi I'm a former student/lifetime member of the Yaw-Yan Temple at
Quiapo (when it was still at the Raon-Quezon Avenue Corner),
practiced also a little at Kalookan (Rizal Ave ext).
I've been trying to look for a gym near me since the one at Shaw
disappeared. Lucky I found the site.
Now my question is, how will the old members recognize me ? When I
was younger I was going to have the Yaw Yan mark on my left breast,
Master Nap's birthday in 93 (teka august yun ah...tapos na pala for
this year), as a symbol of my commitment to the art, but my wife (at
the time) vehemently protested and prevailed.
It used to be that they asked me to recite the Yaw Yan Creed, and
who my instructors were but now that's on the internet, anyone can
pass himself off as a lifetime member. Well...I hope the old records
at the Yaw Yan temple are still intact. Gosh, it was so long ago, I
only paid P 770 for my membership. But I was still a student then,
it was a lot of money even during those days.
If the answer is not supposed to be made public eg this list, please
email me directly at this email address.
Thanks so much brothers.
