I'm posting this here 'coz someone by the name Ramon Carbon sent me
this attached email but my reply keep comming back due to technical
dificulties. Here it is as follows..
Hi Eppie,
Thank you for your interest in learning the art of Philippines Un-
armed
Martial Art. Unfortunately, there is not enough qualified
instructors
to teach Yawyan in the States. We have one branch in Maryland under
Guro Armando Liban. It is our goal to let the World know about this
unarmed version of Arnis and be proud as a Filipino. May be you can
be one
of our ambassador in the future.
I'm planning to organize a seminar in the States in the near future.
Don't worry i'll keep you informed when that materialised. Meantime,
if
you are really interested, come up to Toronto and take a one week
crash
course.
Sincerely,
Fred Garcia

I'm interested in learning the art of Yaw Yan. But I don't think that
we have a school here in Tampa. I would like to know if there is
instructional book or videos i can buy. Also I would like to find out
if
you're going to have a seminar here in USA, or if you have any
information
regarding any Yaw Yan seminar here in USA.Please let me know as soon
as
you can. I've been looking for this Martial Arts since my friend told
me how effective the art is, that was probably since I was in High
School in Guam. My goal is to become an instructor here in Tampa and
help
the Yaw Yan spread all over Tampa and Florida. We have Muay thai
here,
but I want to learn the Filipino way of kick boxing. Just to let you
know
there is only two or three authintic Filipino martial arts instructor
here and mostly about Arnis, And my dream is to be the first Yaw yan
instructor in Tampa. Thank you so much for your time, hope
that I can hear from you any time soon. By the way Sir I'm currently
teaching Hapkido and Taekwondo in Community Center. I've been
practicing
the Art for about 15
years .
Thank you so much, and more power to you and the art of Yaw
Yan.
Hoping to here from
you,
Ramon Carbon
Jr.
