The International Whitewater Hall of Fame & Museum (IWHOF) annual
induction festivities will be held October 20-21, 2006 at Wisp at
Deep Creek Mountain Resort in McHenry, in Western Maryland. Come out
to help celebrate the careers of these six whitewater legends on
Friday evening during the induction ceremony dinner: Champions: Scott
Shipley, Gisela Grothaus-Steigerwald, Advocates: Tom Johnson, Martin
Litton, Pioneer: Jim Snyder, and Explorer: Herbert Rittlinger.

On Saturday, IWHOF will host a Whitewater Legends Brunch, followed by
a tour and the first look at the new re-circulating whitewater course
at the top of Marsh Mountain. The McLaughlin Whitewater Design Group
will be present to talk about this new course.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate of $69.00 per
night at the Wisp Resort until Sept. 22 . Please let them know that

This is another opportunity to show our whitewater racing support,
