Hi everybody-

(October 17-19)
please let me know!!!

Hi Club Tennis-
We have another tennis tournament coming up in a couple weekends. It's the Fall
Invite at
Kansas City and there will be some really good teams there. I need to know who
is
interested. Email me, or tell me at practice tomorrow (or Thursday) if you are
interested. The
last day to sign up is October 10.
Thanks!
Grace
Hi Club Tennis,
It's been a while since we've hung out, but we've got practice on
Monday (tomorrow) at Dwight Davis, the usual!
IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID DUES, AND DO NOT SHOW UP WITH $40, AND COME TO
PRACTICE, YOU WILL NOT BE PLAYING!
By Thursday night, I will put in an order for our team T-Shirts. It
is not required, but highly highly recommended that you purchase a
shirt. They will be cool, you can wear them around, but most
importantly they will be our uniforms during matches. They will only
be $10, they will be heather gray with green writing. Just jump on
the bandwagon and get one! PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR DESIRED SIZE. IF YOU
DO NOT EMAIL ME A SIZE, YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT OR A SHIRT
THAT FITS YOU PROPERLY. I also apologize for my obsession with caps.
We are also going to get sweatshirts this year, hoodies more
specifically. I expect them to be $20, and to be black with red
writing. They may be a little more creative than our uniform shirts,
but I think they'll be baller. If you want one, email me what size as
well!
Thanks guys. See you tomorrow!
Chelsea
I just wanted to remind everyone that there is NO practice on Thursday or Sunday due to the debates. You guys should stay active, get political, rock the vote & there's no way for us to even get from campus to the courts anyway.
If you for some reason have not turned your dues in, you can mail them to Zach at Campus Box 5024. It would be best if that would be a check. It is $40.
Sorry you're getting some many emails from us in a short period of time. I have a short rant about dues.
THE LAST DAY TO TURN DUES IN WILL BE OCTOBER 1ST. IF YOU DO NOT PAY DUES ($40) BY OCTOBER FIRST, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED ON CLUB TENNIS, THEREFORE YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOME AT PRACTICE OR BE ABLE TO PLAY IN MATCHES. PLEASE DO NOT MISS THIS DEADLINE. If you miss this deadline, you will be considered last for our upcoming matches, and you will have to have them in hand when you try to come to practice. Otherwise, you will not be allowed on the courts.
At practice on Monday, I will read Zach's list of who's paid dues. If your name is not on that list and still want to be on the team, you have to get your dues to him by Oct. 1st.
For those of you that will have paid dues by October 1st, I will soon gauge interest for our Fall Break Invitational through email. If you have not paid dues, you will not be considered.
If anyone has any questions about this, please email me.
For tomorrow, I would appreciate it if everyone would where a white shirt and preferably black or dark bottoms (shorts or skirt). If you guys have any more questions about tomorrow, let me know!
Hi Everybody:
Here is the list of everyone who will be playing on Sunday (tomorrow). If you
cannot be

The official
match starts at 1:00, and we have the courts until 4. (Also, if you have any

free to email/give me or Chelsea a call.) Thanks!

I wanted to remind everyone that there is a match this SUNDAY at DWIGHT DAVIS against Mizzou from 1-4 PM. If you are interested in going, you NEED to email Grace, foxccrunner@.... Also, if you sign up, you HAVE to show up on Sunday. Please do not flake out on us because we're going to spend a good deal of time forming teams, and we don't want to be waiting on you when Sunday comes. If you're interested, you HAVE to go to practice on Thursday!!! If you have class or the physics test, it's ok, you can still come, but you need to email Grace and tell her you won't be at practice.
If you're coming to the match, you HAVE to be ready by 12:30 PM and be at the clocktower for pickup if you need a ride. If you're not at the clocktower by 12:30 PM, you will be left behind, and you'll have to walk it. If you don't need a ride, get to Dwight Davis by 12:50 PM.
IF YOU STILL HAVE NOT PAID DUES, YOUR DUES MUST BE PAID BY OCTOBER 1ST. DUES ARE $40. THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PAID DUES WILL BE CONSIDERED ON THE TEAM, WHERE THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T PAY WILL NO LONGER BE WELCOME ON THE COURTS.
Thanks guys- have a good week! (Good luck on the Math and Physics tests)
Hi Wustl Club Tennis. I was wondering if anyone wanted to hit at
times other than the normal practice times. Unfortunately the only
practice I can make is Sunday, so if there is anyone that would like
to get more practice in, or, like me, can't make most of the
practices, send me an email. I am available to hit Tuesdays and
Wednesdays during the day (morning until about 2), and any time on
Fridays and Saturdays. I am a fairly good tennis player.
Brian Fillenwarth
Just so yall know, if you've given me a racquet, it has been strung. Make sure
to bring your
racquets (and $15) to practice tomorrow or Thursday!

Hi guys,

Hi everyone who's not on the tennis team, but still gets my wonderful emails,
If you don't want to be on the email list anymore because you graduated, you signed up with no intention of playing, you signed up and realized you couldn't make practices, etc etc, you can take yourself off the email list! You can UNSUBSCRIBE. At the end of my emails, there is always an option to "unsubscribe," or you can do it through the groups page.
If this seems too confusing, you can email me and I can probably figure out how to take you off the list.
There is practice today from 6-8. Please be at the clocktower at 5:40 if you need a ride (you guys did much better last time, thank you!). It looks like a beautiful day, so it's going to be a great practice. I will not usually send emails to remind people that there is practice, so this will be my last reminder. I will always send out emails about cancelled practices though, so it's usually safe to assume that there's practice!
BRING YOUR DUES. YOU HAVE 2 MORE WEEKS TO BRING THEM!!! Thank you- it's greatly appreciated.
To everyone who gave me their racquet to string-
Bring $15 (if you didn't give me string) and $10 (if you did) to practice next
Monday. I should
have all the racquets finished by then!
Grace
I just wanted to remind everyone that there is practice today from 6-8 at Dwight Davis like usual. If you need a ride, please wait at the clocktower. Try to be there by 5:45. If you have a car, please help us out, and pick up kids from the clocktower!
I wanted to remind you that there is practice tomorrow, Thursday September 11th at Dwight Davis 6-8. If you need a ride, we will meet at the South 40 Clocktower at 5:40-5:45 or so. If you're there by 6, you will get a ride, but please try to come early. It lets us get in a full two hours of practice. If you did not come to practice on Monday, that's ok, you can definately still come out tomorrow.
CLUB TENNIS DUES!!! As I explained at practice, there are dues to be on the team. It is $40 for the year. We pay for everything: court time, balls, traveling expenses- hotels, gas money, tournament fees, even plane tickets for nationals! Really guys, $40 isn't a lot. So, please bring it to the next practice you attend. You can bring cash or check made out to "WashU Club Tennis."
Hopefully the weather for the rest of the week will be better than the weather we got for our first practice. There will be no practice tomorrow, so our next practice will be on Monday, September 8th from 6-8 PM at Dwight Davis. We will meet at the South 40 Clocktower at 5:40 to drive, bike or walk over together. If you have a car, can you please help to carpool! Thanks!
There is NO practice today due to rain. It'll just be too wet to play today! I'll send out another email within the next few days about when the next practice is.
For those of you who signed up at the activities fair, welcome to WashU Club Tennis. I am Chelsea Roberts, this year's President. Club Tennis is a fun and competitive way to play tennis and meet lots of people. We have two hour practices, three times a week. Practices are held on Monday and Thursday evenings at Dwight Davis which is in Forest Park, and Sunday afternoons on WashU courts. We will be traveling to Kansas and Wisconsin this semester for large invitationals, as well as hopefully other locations for matches. Last year, we went to Sectionals in Oklahoma and made it to Nationals in North Carolina! We are hoping to have a successful year, and we're always looking to add more people to our team.
We are supposed to have practice tonight from 6-8 at Dwight Davis, but to be quite honest I don't know if it's going to happen due to the rain. I will send out an email around 1:00 PM when I make the final decision whether or not we will have practice today. If you look at weather.com, it says 100% rain for most of the day. If we do have practice, we will meet at the South 40 Clocktower at 5:40 PM.
I hope everyone has had a great summer and the first week of classes has gone well. For those of you who don't know me, I am Chelsea Roberts, this year's President. Those of you that are receiving this email because you have expressed interest in Club Tennis over the summer and within the past week, I would like to inform you that Club Tennis is a fun and competitive way to play tennis and meet lots of people. As for the rest of the team- welcome back to tennis guys!
We will be starting practice this week on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH at Dwight Davis. Our practice slot is 6-8. We are expecting to have a lot of people come out, so we may need to use multiple forms of transportation. We will be meeting at the South 40 Clocktower at 5:40 to get organized and start trying to get to Dwight Davis. If you have a CAR please email me back. It would be awesome if you can help carpool those who don't. If you have a BIKE, we will be leading a bike group from the Clocktower. If you're up for the WALK (which is about 20 minutes), we will also be leading a walking group if we need it.
Here are the official results from Nationals: take a lot if you feel so
inclined. Wash U was in pool K, then went to the Bronze Division.

Hey all,
I hope, for you undergrads, that your summers are getting off to a good
start, and for you seniors, that you're cherishing the last few days
with you classmates. At the end of the season meeting, we voted on some
changes to the Club constitution, which is the document that defines in
part how we run our Club. I have made the changes, and I have attached
the revised constitution so that you can read it over if you are
interested. Any comments or suggestions on the wording would be
welcome. If there are any lines that you have issue with, please email
Chelsea your suggestion at chelsea.roberts@..., so that she can
put it to a vote at the beginning of next season.
The major changes were: addition of the positions of Secretary and Match
Play Coordinator, the removal of Women's Chair, and the addition of the
rule that all three primary officers cannot be seniors. I have noted
any changes in yellow highlighter. Enjoy!

It's been a great season, thanks to all the officers and Coach Don

The Pizza Picnic Wednesday has been moved back tomorrow to 12pm. Meet
at the entrance to Holmes Lounge that opens out onto the Quad.
Anyone who has uniforms from Nationals, make sure to wash those
(read the instructions on the tags) and bring them to the meeting.
Also, we will discuss the possibility of having a Ladder Coordinator
position, whose job would be to keep the ladder updated, and think of
better ways to implement the ladder, so if that position sounds
interesting to you, let me know by email or at the meeting.
