Hello everyone,

1. For all of you who don't know, Wash U Club drove down to
Indianapolis, Indiana for a head to head match against the Butler
University Bulldogs (Vice President, my brother, Michael). It was a
chilly, -20 windshield day, but we got to play in their tennis bubble,
which was (albeit not much) warmer. We came out with a 4-3 overall
match victory, with wins by Jeff Gole at Men's Singles, Brian Blosser
and Doug Disabato at Men's Doubles, Grace Fox and Stu Webb at Mixed
Doubles, and Andy Baskin at another Men's Singles. Even the matches
we lost were very close, so I think the match was an overall success
and a good time was had by all.

2. Sunday indoor practice starts back up this Sunday from 7-9pm (meet
at the Clocktower at 6:30pm). Same drill, I will be sending out the
potential practice roster on Friday. We only have two more indoor
practices left before Sectionals, so the remaining practices will
concentrate on team pairings for Sectionals as well as contribute to
the final decision of who gets to go.

3. As a reminder, the USTA Sectionals tournament will take place
Saturday and Sunday March 1 and 2, in Norman, Oklahoma. We will leave
Friday evening and return Sunday evening. Get excited, and make sure
that you don't have any conflicts you forgot about...

4. We are still missing uniforms (not including people who have
uniforms from Butler). We are missing a small women's shirt and
skirt, and a medium men's pant. Please, if you ever used a team
uniform, double check to make sure that you don't still have anything.
These uniforms are brand new, and we want them to be intact and in
good condition for next year's team!

5. Lastly, we will be starting outdoor practice the week of March 3,
right after we get back from Sectionals. Practices will again be
Sunday 1-3pm for sure, and Monday and Thursday evenings at a to be
determined time, probably around 7pm.
