Hey Club Tennis,
Here's a general overview email so that maybe I won't have to talk to
much in practice.
1. The first Missouri Valley League Match will take place this Saturday
at University of Missouri-Rolla, and of course we plan to attend! Now,
Saturday evening is the night of WILD, but we would be back from the
match by 4pm, so anyone going would have plenty of time to partake in
all of the WILD festivities. Daniel Gettinger will be sending out an
email soon with details of the match, but for the moment jsut try to
think about if you want to go or not.
2. I posted the dates of all of the MOValley League matches, and the
Badger Invitational on the calendar on our Yahoo! Group. Check it out
and see what matches you might want to play in! We are not necessarily
going to play in all of the League matches, but it's always a
possibility if the interest is there.
3. Dues: $20, bring it to practice if you haven't, it's only once a
season, it's money that will help you and the team out, and we're not
threatening you to pay it, so just step up and bring it.
4. T-shirts: Yeah, we still have 'em, still $10, a great shirt for
great club for a low price.
5. We will have practice as usual this week, and we'll be continuing to
play matches to set up our ladder. That's Sunday 1-3pm at Wash U, Mon.
and Thurs. 6-8pm at Dwight Davis. Meet at the Clocktower at 5:40 to
catch a ride down.
