Hey Club Tennis,
For those of you who are new to Club Tennis, we have an agreement with
the varsity teams where we help them run a tournament that they host
in the fall called the Wash U Fall Invitational, and in return we get
to use their stringing machine, and thus we are able to string
racquets for club members at a low cost. However, the Wash U Fall
Invitational is next weekend, and we need volunteers!
As a volunteer, you might be keeping track of tournament brackets in a
computer, giving new balls to players, or filling up gatorade
dispensers: basically helping out the tournament director or the Wash
U coaches in any number of ways. In addition, you get to watch some
good tennis, support Wash U sports, and get free snacks and a free lunch!
The tournament runs Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
I have divided the volunteering into shifts, so please look at your
schedules to see if you can work one of these shifts. Remember,
you're helping out the Club and the Varsity teams at the same time.
EMAIL ME IF YOU CAN VOLUNTEER DURING A SHIFT, AND INCLUDE WHICH SHIFT
IN THE EMAIL.
Thanks,
Brian Blosser
