Hey again,
There are a ton of you getting this email that have either only come out for a few practices or have given it some thought but couldn't drag yourself out to the courts. If this is you then please consider playing with the club this spring.
Here are some reasons why you should:
Yes, the main goal of the club is to hone a winning competitive team, but don't let that intimidate you. If you've played competitive tennis in the past, I'm 99% sure you'll find something you like about the club. We have a ladder that's always changing and play 4+ matches a semester. This spring we will be travelling to both Iowa and North Carolina. In the past almost everyone that wants to play in matches gets the opportunity to. If you only want to play socially, then great! We'll be having 3 outdoor practices a week starting in March and there's always extra court space. Practices feature drills led by our awesome coach Don Emmanuel Yentumi, in addition to singles and doubles play. Finally, we also provide opportunities to help teach and spread interest in tennis around the community.
Thanks!
Nathan
