Hello all Club Tennisers,



We played in a USTA League tournament hosted by SLU last night and
took 2nd place out of 4 teams. It was held indoors at Creve Coeur
Racquet Club, and included SLU, University of Missouri-Rolla, and
University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Although the tournament was a bit
disorganized, I think we all had a good time and got to play some good
matches. This tournament was most likely a preview of sectionals, as
Iowa State and Drake were the only major teams from our section that
were not there. Hopefully we'll keep working and turn the 2nd place
into a 1rst place performance in sectionals.



We will have practice Mon. and Thurs. this week at regular times.



Friday, Dec. 2, the Friday after we get back from Thanksgiving Break,
we will be having a Club Tennis Tea Party at Jeff Marlow's apartment
in the village, where we can chill out, drink tea, and hopefully give
out prizes for top ladder finishers, so be sure to mark your calendar
for that!
