<> WWE STAR ASSAULTED OUTSIDE BAR

There are reports circulating that Shane Helms was assaulted outside
the N&N Sports Bar in Smithfield, NC yesterday by an associate of his
called Dustin Curtis Narron.

Apparently there was some form of altercation outside the bar and
Helms was slapped in the face by Narron, 29, of Selma. Helms called
police who arrived and arrested Narron about an hour after the
incident.

He was eventually released on $500 bail pending his court appearance
on the charges.

Ashley Massaro has posted a new blog on her MySpace account and I
really do wish I had not read it because I fear it has killed part of
my brain.

"Damn...all I can say is wow. Youys are mega supportive and I
friggin love you for it. I consider everyone of you a friend and
appreciate every last single message and believe me i've read them
all you guys ROCK!!!!! HARD!!!!! So thanks for that. Seriously. I
love you."

No mention of the recent escort revelations so I can only assume that
she is hoping it will quietly go away.

<> TNA WORLD X-CUP UPDATE

TNA have sent word out that wrestlers from Dragon Gate, New Japan and
CMLL will be taking part in the TNA World X-Cup tournament.

In the past TNA have come across problems when booking a collection
of wrestlers from different promotions in other countries for one
show, hopefully they will be able to do this without too much hassle
as it is a decent concept.

<> PETEY WILLIAMS INJURY UPDATE

The injury that Petey Williams picked up during the taping last week
is believed to be a broken orbital bone, he broke it in a match
against Jimmy Rave. Some feared he had broken his jaw.

Apparently backstage Williams started to get upset because he does
not currently have health insurance but souces say that he was told
to go to hospital and TNA will cover the bill. If thye do this will
be very kind of them, they have left injured wrestlers out in the
cold in the past.

<> KURT ANGLE TO HOST REALITY PILOT SHOW

Kurt Angle is being lined up to host a new SpikeTV reality series
pilot called Caught in the Action. I'm not sure what the show will be
about but I'm guessing it will consist of showing footage of people
doing stupid things on camera.

- During a recent radio show interview with World Wrestling Insanity
Terry Funk said that the reason he has not appeared in TNA yet is
because it is too far to travel.

<> UPDATE ON RVD'S WIFE

Rob and Sonya Van Dam posted the following message to their fans on
Van Dam's official website at www.robvandam.com.

Hello everybody. We want everyone to know that Sonya's surgery went
well and she's back home recovering now. I've had her home for one
week and after a few miserable days, she's making her comeback. The
misery was due to what they called "post-operation illis".

After the surgery to remove part of her colon and attach the loose
ends, her body took a few extra days to swell intensely, which caused
bruising and a lot of discomfort- to say the least. We got her
checked out and soon afterwards, swelling went down and everything
has been getting better day by day. At this point, we don't know what
kind of therapy treatment we're facing but whatever they say to do-
we'll do it.

We really appreciate all the support that you have been sending our
way. The love, prayers, and positive energy made it all the way, as
Sonya and I read every comment on my Myspace together and received
the attended lift.

All the phone calls, texts, emails and other genuine, straight
hearted messages mean a lot to both of us.

Now let me grab Sonya for you. SONYA...?

still have the cards that I received from the jet-ski accident and I
can never forget all the kind wishes. Your personal stories have
given me strength in the knowledge that I am in no way alone in this

- Hip hop singer Kid Sister has named her new album Koko B. Ware.
Apparently it is after the former WWF favourite.

- For the record Terri Runnels does not have an official MySpace
page. Apparently someone has set one up and is pretending to be her.
Almost as sad as those losers who pop into chat rooms and pretend to
be WWE wrestlers popping in for a chat.
