<> COACHMAN GONE FROM WWE
People were left wondering just why The Coach had been removed
from the announce booth on Smackdown, well all seems to have
become very clear.
Cochman's contract is due up in a couple of months and it emerged
that Coach had lined up an interview with ESPN to be an anchorman,
this obviously did not sit well with WWE officials who wanted someone
who would put their company first and not another company.
This is why he was replaced by Mick Foley (and possibly why Foley was
cracking so many jokes at Coachman's expense). Now news has broken
that Coach had landed the anchor job it looks like he is about done
with WWE and will finish up wthin the next week or so and will then
jump to ESPN.
I liked Coach, OK his commentory may not have added anything to the
Smackdown show but it certainly did to the Raw show in my view. His
heel persona was also fantastic, a lot of wrestlers could have
learnt a lot from watching him.

<> MORE INFORMATION ON MICHAEL HAYES
There is a feeling backstage in WWE that Michael Hayes might not be
able to return to the company if Mark Henry is still employed.
Mark Henry was the wrestler who received racist comments from
Michael Hayes and he complained to Vince McMahon and basically said
to Vince "Either he goes or I do". Obviously Mark Henry is held in
high regard but the company are believed to hold Hayes incredibly
high, this is possibly why he gets away with a lot of things like
getting drunk and making an arse of himself.

<> ORTON WANTS TIME OFF
Randy Orton has asked WWE officials for time off from doing house
shows as his wife is due to give birth to their first child in July
and he would like to spend some more time at home with them.
He has said he is still happy to do television and pay-per-views.
It is not known if WWE officials have granted his request but he has
been pulled from WWE's upcoming tour of Mexico.

<> DEUCE & DOMINO DUMP CHERRY AS EYE CANDY
For anyone who actually cares WWE.com have footage on their web site
of Deuce and Domino officially dumping Cherry as their valet (no I
don't mean car cleaning kind of valet!).
The link can be found below.

<> MCMAHON TO RECEIVE AWARD
Today's edition of Vanity Fair is reporting that WWE chairman Vince
McMahon will be receiving the Promax/BDA lifetime achievement award
during the upcoming 53rd annual Promax/BDA conference in Manhattan.
He is being given the apparently prestigious award "for his
successful development of the WWE brand, which began life as a
regional syndicated program and now incorporates "virtually every
conceivable platform available in today's marketplace," those are
the words of CEO Jonathan Block-Verk in case you wee wondering.

<> FINLAY INTERVIEW
Finlay was interviewed in today's edition of The Miami Herald about
his very long wrestling career. Some of you young guys might be

I did not know this but he is now the oldest active wrestler in the
company.
The article can be read below.

<> KURT ANGLE INJURES NECK
Kurt Angle was taking part in a triple threat match for New Korea
Pro Wrestling in the main event against Osamu Nishimura & Yeok Bal
San when Yeok Bal San attempted to bodyslam Angle he landed on his
neck.
Angle was in some pain and even had to cancel an autograph session
in order to get some treatment.
I have no idea if it is serious but hopefully this is just a bit of
a knock and he will be back in the ring in a couple of weeks.

<> PROMOTER UPSET WITH SID VICIOUS
Dave Martin was warned by many people when he decided to book Sid
Vicious for a Prime Time Wrestling event recently. They warned him
that Sid Vicious has a reputation of not showing up to shows and he
did this very thing to Dave Martin.
Dave received a phone call om Sid two days before the show to inform
him that he had injured his foot but it should not hinder him making
the event. Dave thought nothing more of it and drove to the airport
to pick him up but found out that Sid had not boarded the plane.
Countless calls to his home were pointless as he did not answer and
Dave was left with no option but to continue with the show without
his top draw.
Thankfuly he had a collection of guys on the show that fans paid to
come and see. Such as Johnny Devine, Rhino, Robert Roode, Chris
Sabin, Alex Shelley, and Eric Young but he spent a lot of money on
promoting the show around Sid being there.

<> JIM CORNETTE WRITING MIDNIGHT EXPRESS BOOK
Jim Cornette, the manager of The Midnight Expess, is putting together
a book about the legendary tag team to coincide with their upcoming
anniversary.
In my opinion there is nobody better qualified to write a book about
them than this man.
I'll have more on this tomorrow.

<> HOGAN ENDORSES FROZEN FOOD AT WALMART
I am guessing that Linda is taking her husband Hulk Hogan to the
cleaners in their divorce because Walmart have started stocking
frozen food that bares the image of Hulk Hogan on the box!
The Hulkster Chicken Sandwich, The Hulkster Cheeseburger and Hulkster
Hamburger are just three of the products that people have spotted so
far.
So if you are a famous man then beware on cheating on your wife,
you'll end up trying to make money by endorsing crap frozen meals at
Walmart!

<> WARRIOR INVADES MYSPACE
If you thought it was save to venture onto the internet again as
long as you avoided the rambling nonsense that oftens comes from
Ultimate Warrior's official web site then you were seriously wrong,
The Ultimate Warrior has created his own official MySpace web page.
www.myspace.com/mrultimatewarrior is the link and he plans to be as
open on that as he is on his own web site.
