Club Presidents-
Welcome to the 2008-2009 academic year! Summer seemed to fly by here on campus with summer classes, 6 orientations and our preparation for the upcoming school year, I cannot believe it¢s over. The Office of Campus Activities hopes that you are rested, enjoyed the past couple of months and have gotten yourself ready to return and begin a new year.
Those organizations who submitted summer contact information are privy to a special opportunity, as a thank you for your diligence and follow through. We would like to invite you and members of your organization to participate in first-year student move-in on Sunday, August 31st. You and the members of your club/organization will work from 11-3pm on Sunday for first year student move-in. Everyone must check-in with Francisco Diaz at Overlook (aka-The Towers) by 11am and sign in. Some club leaders who will be residents this fall may want to move-in early and can do so on Saturday, August 30th from 10-12 noon if and only if you RSVP via e-mail to campusactivities@... no later than 12 noon on August 25th providing us your full name, cell number and 855 number. We need to confirm that all is okay with the Bursar before you can be cleared to move-in early. We will respond to the e-mails you send us to confirm your participation. For those who move-in early and do not support move-in activities, you/they will be fined and be referred to the Associate Vice President for Campus Life (Discipline Officer).
Commuters are also welcome to participate, but they must also RSVP via email only to campusactivities@... no later than 12 noon on August 25 with the following information : full name, cell number and your 855 number. We can truly use your support, but you must RSVP ahead of time.
Failure to RSVP will result in turning you or others away from the residence hall on the day of move-in. So please be sure to pass all of this along to everyone in your club.
Club Fair, is September 11th, during Common Hour. Please fill out the attached word document to RSVP directly to me via email: reynoldsm@... or drop of the attached form to the Campus Activities office by September 8th, 2008. Remember you will not be given a table to share unless this form is completed and returned to CASL by September 8th.
