John, thanks for the kind words, it is a magical experience every time I work with a child and I do this all the time, how about we do an outing in your parts. What I do is simple, I come for a outing and work with surfing instructors, or surfers and show them how to work with these kids, what to expect and how to deal with just about everything that can ,and will happen a week before the outing.We do fund raisers and ALL the money goes to beside the outing, boards and life jackets, when the outing is over(one day) all equipment is left with the school. instructor or just great people who can handle these kids and these kids will have some one to take them surfing.Big brother/Sister as we call it here in N. Y.

I did this is the UK and now they are having there own outing in Sept and a good number of the kids did surf many time more after I left, and will continue to surf, all of us in this group know the feeling, the need and the desire to surf all the time, all I am doing is giving kids that would other wise would not be able to a chance to.

Simple, life enhancing and in my simple words, GIVING BACK to a sport that I have been doing all my life..
