well, i may not be the best person to answer
this, as i've never really been able to do
bluntslides... but i've been skating for a very long time and i
can tell u that it comes down to being really
comfortable with the slide... are u talkin about a backside
(back to curb) or f/s blunt...? the problems ive had
with foreign tricks (i.e., new, challenging)is mainly
trying them with little or no speed, and being afraid of
really getting into the trick... so ok to cut to the
point if u can slide f/s or backside very well, u know,
noseslides and boardslides... actually, tailslides will help
u keep your weight on yer tail, so do those too...
then get to the point where u can go at a steady speed
and get into a long slide while feeling relaxed...
then all you'll reallyu need to know is how to pop
out... which u can learn by ollieing to blunt stalls on
curbs and doin frontide or b/s 90 degree ollies out...
i hope this hasnt been one whole slew of stuff ya
already know.. peace
