In spite of furious negotiations by the USTU and Sang Lee - it was
all for naught. The USOC voted this afternoon to continue the
decertification process. This means that the USTU could see itself
totally decertified before the 2004 Olympics.

This also makes the November 2003 meeting all that more important.
The USOC is drawing its line in the sand that Sang Lee and crew have
to go. Sang Lee will not leave, so that means the USTU will become
like the USTW or the USNTF.

Now the real work begins.
