08.31.2003 -An agreement is signed between WTF (The World TKD
Federation) and ITF (International TKD Federation) in Daegu, Korea.
The document, which has signatures of WTF president, Mr. UN YONG KIM
and ITF president, Mr. CHANG UNG, has 3 points:
1. To have the first round talk between the delegations of ITF and
WTF around the end of October 2003 in Beijing, China, so as to form a
coordination committee for integration of TKD technical and
administrative matters.
2. After the 1st round talk Dr. Kim will be invited to Pyongyang to
prepare with Mr. Ung Chang for the 2nd round of talk.
3. Joint march at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympics
and the formation of unified team.
