Hello to all
A historic day for the Hørsholm PPK team today, our first Pitch and Putt match
was played in extrem weather conditions, sun, rain with thunder and lightning so
we had to leave the course for ½ an hour. We have a young team but the lads
were very enthusiastic, I think they were very nervous, one of them even asked
when the other team were turning up, I had to laugh. The lads started off very
nervous, I think some of them were scared to hit the ball, but as the holes
started going by they settled down to shoot some great shots. Kristian Ravn
finished with a great score -3, a new course record, I can tell you, that on our
course that was a great score. as the greens are so small, like up turned
saucers. Father and son played in the foursomes, it seemed to be a tale of I
score on the front 9 and you score on the back 9, I saw one shot from the 8 foot
deep bunker, Son Ronnie hit his shot straight out of bounds so he dropped
another ball in the bunker and then hit a masterly
shot straight into the hole for a great 4, thankfully his father got a par on
the hole.The scores were ok, but i am sure they could be better, so watch out
the rest of the world Hørsholm PPK is now well and truly on the Pitch and Putt
map.
