Symonds was lucky even on day 2 when bucknor refused to take the third umpire :-)
Can anyone explain how bucknor has managed to stay on the panel despite being terrible,horrible,pathetic etc since the last four years atleast. He is now easily consistently the worst umpire on this panel after being the best for the first part of his career.Either he has to chose the option or be shown the door.
Marvellous batting by VVS yesterday and Sachin finally got past his 90s jinx with another superb century at SCG. India has finished with 532 and Aus finished with 13/0. Looks like a superb test in the offing...

Bucknor has become one of the not so good umpires in the elite panel .. its not only this match he has made blunders. Such decisions are coming in far too...

I was surprised Symmonds survived the hattrick ball ... despite hawkeye, I would have given him; bats are for a reason. And Hussey was as plumb as early on....
