Re: [world_cricket] England drop a test match

Sri Lanka deserve the credit more than anything else for saving this test from the most unlikely position especially once dilshan & kapugedera had gone quite soon. One of the great fightbacks in modern day cricket and once again follow on proving to be the wrong decision as its really not anymore paying off these days. Its better to give the bowlers a break and then make use of the 4th/5th day pitch but yes the weather must have played a role as well.

Fantastic twin effort by Mahela and well supported by many in the 2nd innings..i expect england to win the series but their catching reminds us of our effort in Mumbai ;)

and that doesn't bode well for the summer.

10 catches down in the match and we really let Sri Lanka off the hook. I A
poor performance by England in the field for 3 and a bit days. Not good
enough and something needs to change. Jones needs to go (he's still rubbish
with bat and gloves) and England didn't bowl or catch well enough. Batting
good, but one of three IS bad.

So... Edgbaston next and Sri Lanka will have the moral high ground

Wonder what will happen.
