Eat Fat, Lose Fat   Message List

Hi again,

I meant to send this out in my newsletter...but forgot to include it.

I would highly recommend reading the book "Eat Fat, Lose Fat" by Sally Fallon & Mary Enig.  Basically, even though we are told we are healthy if we don't eat a lot of fats…these very fats they tell us not to eat are the fats our body needs to reproduce and just to function properly.  Sally & Mary throughly and clearly explain how our culture has been incorrectly lead down the path of eating the low-fat/trans-fat diet and documents why their plans work (and have worked for cultures for thousands of years).

It has 3 plans in it:

1) a "Health Recovery" plan in there for a long list of ailments, such as fertility issues, thyroid problems [which can be contributed to consumption of soy], depression, and so many more.

2) a plan for losing weight (it has helped me take off those last 10-15 lbs of baby weight)

3) a plan for just normal life.

Here is a link to hear Mary talk about fats and their role in our health:

Again, please feel free to ask any questions!
