Seeing as how you have already raised a couple of wrestlers, I will skip the usual "are you sure you're aware of all you will be undertaking..." speech ::smirks:: Yes, women's wrestling is an up and coming sport, and no, it is not unheard of for mothers to join in. My first suggestion is to find out if there are any existing local clubs. Most high school coaches will be aware of the local clubs or know how to point you in the right direction. Secondly, I advise that you look to learning freestyle, it is the only international style wrestled by senior women. Finding a mat and coach are most likely to be your biggest challenges here and your location will definitely affect your success, but it can be done, don't lose heart. If this is something you -really- want to do and there are no clubs in your area you can even look to start one. Mat time is by far the most important thing, especially for a fresh starting wrestler.
