My cutting isn't doing as well as I'd like it to be. I have wrestled
130 and 135 for four years and my body needs to gain more weight
because of my growth, though I don't want it to! It sucks being a
girl, because my body is changing so much. I have never had to cut
weight before, besides a couple water weight pounds. I have cut down
on the soda and junk food, probally about 90% of it. I'm still
working down. I'm trying to ease heathier foods into my diet so I
get used to it, instead of jumping the gun and starting right off
with fruits and veggys and everything. I weighed in at 152, at our
first wrestling meeting. i know by cutting soda out totally, that is
about 10-15 pounds right there.
I swim so I'm not getting in shape. Conditioning has already
started, but my swim season isn't over yet. I'll be behind on our
training and our ALPHAS are the week of the 12th. I don't have a lot
of time to cut. I'm going to try my hardest, and there is always the
chance of me being able to cut a lot, form the ALPHAS. Last year I
was able to go down to 103...yeah right! I won't kill myself, even
though that is my mom's biggest fear. She doens't want me to wrestle
152, because the guys are bigger than me. She doesn't want me to cut
a lot of weight, because she doesn't me to hurt myself. I guess i
won't win either way. Let me know what you think...
