Hello~
I believe that, yes, women should be permitted to wrestle with the guys. I
wrestle on the boys varsity wrestling team at my high school because there
is not enough girls in the state of Indiana to have girls leagues. Females
are just as tough as their male counterparts and if they have the courage
and strength to be out there on the mat with thr guys then they should be
allowed to wrestle with them. Women have worked long and hard to be
accepted as equals and I think it should be the same in sports. However, I
also believe this should work both ways. Guys should be able to join girls
teams if there is no male team equivelant that he can join. They are being
hypocrytical when they allow girls to wrestle because they are just as
strong, but then won't allow guys to play girls sports becasue that would be
an "unfair advantage."
