Re: [womenswrestling] Not allowed on school team (PLEASE HELP!)

Niki,

Your school does not have the right to deny you
participation in wrestling. Are you in High School? or
Middle School?

I would have your parents call the Principal or
Athletic director and mention Title IX and threaten a
suit. They can not deny you participation by federal
law.

Until this is all worked out I suggest you find a club
team in your area and get wrestling. USA Wrestling
would have a list of all sanctioned clubs in your
area. This would be the best way to start our
wrestling while you wait for the school thing to be
worked out.

let me know if you need any further help!

Juli
