daily towards becoming a 2004 State Champion.

This list does NOT include the dozens of youth wrestlers who are excelling at

CHAMPIONS - Mike Grey NJ, TJ Sebolt IA, Lance Palmer OH, and Garrett Scott PA.
All 4 of these dedicated boys have been attending our camps consistently since
they were little.

Congratulations to their dedicated parents as well. Success rarely occurs
without commitment from parents. These families have traversed the nation with
their sons for close to a decade. I am glad they choose to make my camps a
regular stop on their tour.

EASTERN NATIONALS
MAWA Eastern Nationals was a huge success at Penn State this month. The
tournament went great and the competition was tougher than ever. We encourage
you to visit State College, PA for our tournaments whenever possible!

Dozens of campers won and many dozen placed. Our camp has truly become a must
attend for all dedicated wrestlers in the Eastern US and from across the nation.
Congratulations to six of our local boys who won Eastern Nationals - Matt Kyler,
Quentin Wright, Andrew Alton, Luke Frey, Terry Tate, and Matt Kocher. Also
congratulations to the Peppelman family who had 3 Champions (Garrett, Marshall,
and Walt) and Tony Dallago. They train at our Gold Medal Wrestling School in
Harrisburg and are long-time summer camp regulars. Many of our guys only compete
in Freestyle and Greco in the spring, or the list would be longer. Does anyone
know the last time 3 brothers won Eastern Nationals in the same year?

PA TRAINING
We welcome wrestlers at my home gym in Boalsburg on Tuesday nights from 7:00 -
8:30. We are located 6 miles from Penn State. Reply to this e-mail if you want

We welcome wrestlers at our Harrisburg Gold Medal Wrestling School 3 nights per

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
This unique event is a great challenge. You must "Rise to the Occasion" time
and time again against top notch kids in this one-day competition.
It is this Saturday at the Columbus Convention Center. I will be anxious to see
which tough campers are able to win! We will have a table with camp information
and videos playing at this event. Each wrestler who registers for camp at the
tournament will receive a FREE video. Videos and Gold Medal Singlets will also
be available a reduced price. Be sure to come visit our table in the vendor
area!

CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS - SUPPORTS WRESTLING!
Charter Communications is sponsoring an open tournament for wrestlers of all
ages this weekend in Winfield, West Virginia near Charleston. Note that the
Charleston Civic Center and Hotel is the site of our camp July 13-17. We can
expect great support from Charter Communications at camp.

Charter Communications currently provides Cable Television Service to over
230,000 subscribers within West Virginia. http://chartercom.com/ Selected
matches will be broadcast on Charter Communications Channel 22. For more
information reply to this e-mail. As the sponsor for this event, Charter
Communications is trying to take an active role in local area sports and
increase their participation in local events. This tournament will be used to
help establish and maintain a youth wrestling program in Putnam and surrounding
counties.

WRESTLING ON TV
Larry Nugent from USA Wrestling tells me we have 11 FOX Sports Regional Networks
covering the U.S. National Open. This will get to up to 40 million homes. Most
of the networks will be broadcasting the finals on Saturday, May 24th at 4PM
