I just created a new women with guns
club--realwomenrealguns.  I did this because some of
the groups I am in are almost obsolete and others are
having major problems with porn spammers and the
moderator is unreachable.  I have made this club with
restricted membership but free posting once you are a
member.  I will be closely monitoring this group and
make sure to kick out anyone IMMEDIATELY that
intentionally spams us.  I really want someplace where
I can get info on owning and using guns, and how to
somehow live in California without going crazy!  I
hope to see you at my new group.  I am going now to

Hi Raina,

It nice to meet you.  I also own a M16 along with a wide assortment
of other class 3 firearms.  I live in Lebanon, Tennessee back in the
country.  It is nice here and I can shoot in my backyard.  We have
alot of targets set up around the yard and I shoot on a regular
basis.

I am really active in supporting our gun rights.  I try to do
everything I can to make sure we keep that right.  I am also a model
and I use that to help teach people that guns are not bad.  I am on
guns and girls and also full auto fun.  I look forward to talking
with you again and feel free to e-mail me if you would like to talk

hunting from time to time growing up, but it took
moving to California to get me really involved!  I
hate it here!

We have friends with an uzi that they said I could
shoot sometime when we visit.  The only time I have
ever fired an automatic weapon was in the Army with
the M16.  It was such a blast!

Where are you from?  Do you like to hunt or target
shoot better?  Are you also actively involved in gun
rights?

Maybe if we can get a few more people to respond to
your message we can get this group more active!

This news story is dated April 20th

BOSTON -- National guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of
recently banned assault rifles were ambushed on April 19th by
elements of a paramilitary extremist faction. Military and law
enforcement officials estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200
injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.

Speaking after the clash, Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared
that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has
links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement.

Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed
against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the
group's organizers as "criminals," issued an executive order
authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered
with the government's efforts to secure law and order.

The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed widespread
refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault
weapons. Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and
ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting
earlier this month between government and military leaders at which
the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms.

One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed
out that "none of these people would have been killed had the
extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily."

Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply
of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to
seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from
heavily-armed extremists who had been tipped-off regarding the
government's plan.

During a tense standoff in Lexington's town park, National Guard
Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered
the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse
was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the
right-wing extremists.

Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange. Ironically, the
local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists
for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed
citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units.
Colonel Smith, finding his forces overmatched by the armed mob,
ordered a retreat.

Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/national
joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor
has also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and
leading the attack against the government forces. Samuel Adams, Paul
Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as "ringleaders"
of the extremist faction, remain at large.

I´m a 23 y.o girl who carry my small detonics pocket 9 mm since 6
months ago.

Just now, in summer may be a little problem wearing summer
and light dresses.


Usually I wear t-shirts and tops, also miniskirt (mainly denim ) and
short shorts (denim too). I hate carry on purse.


I wonder if there is a practical ans safe carry way for women wearing
thins kind of clothes in summer.

Any suggestions for holsters?

I would like have some advices from women/girls who share this great
and useful group.

You are welcome.

There is nothing worse then going to an indoor range and someone next
to you decides to shoot a very large caliber gun.  It sure can be
deafening.

My first set of "ears" were the Pelltiers, and they worked great.  I
switched to electronics so I can hear the timer when it goes off.
Lately I have started wearing plugs when I mow the lawn.  I figure
every little bit helps.

Thanks, ladybear. I have bought a pair of Peltor earmuffs in place of
the pair I was using and am also using the foam earplugs under the
earmuffs. As you said, it is much better. I really don't know how
some of us can shoot with just earplugs. I am enjoying it much more
without the deafening noise.

It sounds like you are shooting inside.  I wear electronic ears.  I
shoot outdoors all year long(even in the winter), but when I am
indoors I shut them off and also wear a pair of ear plugs.  This
helps immensely!

When you buy your ear protection, check what decibel level they are
designed for and try to get the highest rating you can.  Mine are
made by Pro Ears and are actually made for indoor shooting.  However,
because they are electronic, they are expensive.  I use this type do
to the sport I shoot.
