Re: Shooting Associations

I recommend NOT using Federal Hydra-Shoks, and
here's why.

I was attending the annual SWAT
Sniper Symposium in Maryland this past January and spoke
personally, at length, with Dr. Martin Fackler (if you don't
know who Marty is, you should). Anyway, he won a
lawsuit against Federal when they sued him for his
comments about Hydra-Shoks over penetrating. He stated in
test findings that they tended to plug up and not
expand. Want to know what won the case for him? DURING
THE TRIAL, there was a police-involved shooting in,
if I recall, somewhere in Arizona. Not only did the
cop's Hydra-Shok go through the bad guy, it killed a
bystander several feet away.

I asked Marty what he
recommends, and his choice has been MY choice for the past
several years (it's always nice when a professional backs
up a decision I've made based on my OWN research):
Remington Golden Sabers. I use them as my defensive load in
my Python and in my PT945.
