It sounds like you are shooting inside. I wear electronic ears. I
shoot outdoors all year long(even in the winter), but when I am
indoors I shut them off and also wear a pair of ear plugs. This
helps immensely!

When you buy your ear protection, check what decibel level they are
designed for and try to get the highest rating you can. Mine are
made by Pro Ears and are actually made for indoor shooting. However,
because they are electronic, they are expensive. I use this type do
to the sport I shoot.
