Re: Shooting Associations

I made a simple statement of FACT, not out of
bitterness, but out of the desire to enlighten those who may
have come to believe that the so called "practical"
shoots have any real bearing on staying alive on the
street. I do not personaly know, or harbour a grudge
toward your aforementioned persons, but I have firsthand
knowledge of Col. Cooper, and his methods, which if put
into practice will keep you alive long enough to reach
a more effective weapon, ie: a Main Battle Rifle.
You are correct about some of the improvements made
in firearms, 40 years we never heard of a shock
buff, compensators, titanium, stainless steel etc., but
try to put a "race" gun in your duty rig. when the
"games leaders" start to have a documented history of
surviving real gunfights, I will listen harder, until then,
my practice will remain centered around what I have
proven to work since my first trip to Venezuela over 40
years ago.
